This policy applies to information processed through the Raj Motors app and related Services. By providing information or using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular activity, Raj Motors will request it separately and you may withdraw it, subject to lawful processing and record-keeping requirements.

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

• Identity and contact data: name, mobile number, email address, postal address, and booking-recipient details;
• Account data: account identifiers and information received through an approved sign-in provider, such as your Google name, email address, and profile identifier;
• Enquiry and booking data: vehicle preferences, selected model or variant, booking number, delivery details, notes, and customer-support history;
• Transaction data: amount, date, payment status, payment reference, invoice details, and refund-request or refund-status information, but not your UPI PIN or complete card credentials;
• Technical and usage data: device, app version, operating system, network and diagnostic information, logs, timestamps, and security events reasonably required to operate and protect the Services; and
• Communications: messages, calls, feedback, and other information you send to Raj Motors or its authorised representatives.

We collect information directly from you when you create or use an account, submit an enquiry, make a booking or payment, request support, or visit the showroom. We may also receive information from authorised sign-in providers, payment processors, service providers, or Raj Motors staff who assist with your request. Technical information may be collected automatically when the Services operate.

Raj Motors may use personal information to:

• create and manage accounts, enquiries, bookings, payments, invoices, deliveries, and customer records;
• verify payment status and investigate failed, duplicate, disputed, or potentially fraudulent transactions;
• review refund requests and allow an authorised administrator to approve, reject, and initiate eligible refunds;
• contact you about vehicles, availability, booking status, service updates, and support;
• provide marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law;
• operate, troubleshoot, secure, analyse, and improve the Services;
• enforce our terms, protect customers and Raj Motors, and prevent misuse; and
• comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, law-enforcement, and other legal obligations.

Depending on the context and applicable law, Raj Motors processes information with your consent, to take steps at your request or perform an agreement, to comply with legal obligations, for permitted business and security purposes, and to respond to emergencies or legal claims. If you withdraw consent, processing already lawfully completed is not affected, and we may retain information where the law permits or requires it.

Payments are processed by Razorpay or another approved payment provider. Raj Motors does not store your complete card number, card security code, UPI PIN, or banking password. We receive and retain limited transaction information needed to confirm a payment, maintain accounts, provide support, and comply with law.

Refunds are not requested or processed through the app. If you contact Raj Motors directly for a refund, we use your booking, contact, payment, and request information to verify the claim. Only an authorised Raj Motors administrator can approve and initiate an eligible refund. The payment provider and your bank will process an approved refund under their own systems and privacy practices.

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

• Raj Motors staff, authorised administrators, and authorised dealers handling your enquiry, booking, payment, delivery, or support request;
• providers supporting sign-in, hosting, storage, payments, analytics, security, customer communication, and technical operations;
• professional advisers, auditors, insurers, finance or registration partners where relevant to your requested transaction;
• government bodies, regulators, courts, law-enforcement agencies, or other parties where required or permitted by law; and
• a successor or participant in a genuine business reorganisation, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

Raj Motors does not sell your personal information.

Raj Motors and its service providers may process information on systems located outside your city, state, or country. Where a transfer is subject to legal requirements, we take reasonable steps to use approved providers and appropriate contractual, organisational, or technical safeguards.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including to manage bookings and customer service, complete transactions, maintain tax and business records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with law. The exact period depends on the type of record, the status of your relationship with Raj Motors, and applicable legal requirements. We then delete, anonymise, or securely isolate information unless continued retention is lawfully required.

Raj Motors uses reasonable administrative, organisational, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Access is limited to people and providers who need the information for authorised purposes. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please keep your sign-in credentials and payment authentication details confidential.

Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask for deletion of information that is no longer needed, withdraw consent, opt out of promotional communications, or raise a concern about how your information is handled.

Some information cannot be deleted immediately where it is needed to complete a transaction, protect security, resolve a dispute, or satisfy legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations. Choosing not to provide required information may prevent Raj Motors from completing an enquiry, booking, payment, refund, or delivery.

The Services are intended for people legally capable of making a vehicle enquiry, booking, or payment and are not directed to children. Raj Motors does not knowingly seek personal information from a child without the consent or involvement required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

The Services may contain third-party sign-in, payment, map, communication, or website features. Their privacy policies govern their own processing, and Raj Motors is not responsible for a third party’s independent practices. Review their policies before providing information directly to them.

Raj Motors may update this policy when the Services, business practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with its updated date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.
